Susan began hairdressing in 2000 where she was professionally trained at Peter Mark in Stephen’s Green, Dublin. She later graduated to training and passed those skills on to others located out of Dundrum. She continued her education and completed the esteemed L’Oreal Colour Specialist Degree along with Management Training.

In 2013, Susan opened her own salon and in December 2017, founded Susan Collins Home Of Hair.

What do you love about what you do?

“My favourite part of my job is the feeling you get when you see a clients confidence growing because they love their hair. Making someone feel beautiful on the inside because of what they see on the outside is amazing.”

Nicky

MANAGER + RECEPTIONIST

Nicky moved into her career in hairdressing when she finished school and spent two years training in Tyrone. She spent the next four years gaining experience in salons throughout Australia before returning home to take up her stylist role at Peter Mark. Her success with Peter Mark saw her quickly advance to managing and coordinating staff which became a passion of hers. She began working with Susan Collins in 2016 and became the manager at Home of  Hair when it opened in 2017.

What do you love about what you do?

“My favourite part of what I do is having the banter with the clients and having everyone involved in the chats as we work”

Antoinette (Anto)

SENIOR STYLIST

Antoinette full of experience having spent the last 24 years in hairdressing. Anto cut her teeth in and was professionally trained at studio 54 in Dublin working as a stylist. After stints in both Cabello and Sandy Cove throughout the next 10 years, she took a break from full-time work to focus on being a mom. Anto continued to work part-time and joined Home of Hair in 2017. She has a flair for cutting and loves a good balayge.

What do you love about what you do?

“My favorite thing to do is highlights and balayge. I love cutting too. I probably enjoy the chats with clients the most and listening to their life stories.”

Anita

SENIOR STYLIST

Anita is a well-seasoned senior stylist with many years of experience plying her trade for well-established salons thoughout bray.

After taking some time out to spend with her family, her passion for styling has brought her back, taking up a senior styling position in our Home-of-Hair Salon.

Anita loves all aspects of hairdressing and after investing many months upskilling on the latest techniques, she’s eager to rebuild her clientele!

Niav

SENIOR STYLIST

Niav began her hairdressing journey working on the set of the Tudors in Ardmore Studios when she was 18. It was here she found her flare for hair. She then went on to train professionally. Since then she has continued to work in almost every aspect of the hair industry. From bridal work, to various shoots with several magazine covers and to work on a list of programmes.

What do you love about what you do?

“ The best part of my work is getting to be creative everyday. I love when I have to put a lot of work and effort into planning and consulting with the client about what we are going to do. Then to see the creation come together and the happy client and the end is the feeling! ”

Chloe

JUNIOR STYLIST

Since finishing her leaving cert. Chloe found her passion in hairdressing.

Having successfully completed her two year hair and beauty therapy course, Chloe has spent the last year perfecting her techniques at Home-of-Hair.

Chloe loves every aspect of the hairdressing industry and is excited about where her passion can take her. (Watch out for this one in the future).
